Y4 Pioneer Centre
Our Y4 residential visit is to the Pioneer Centre. Introduced initially to help the children prepare for a longer residential experience in Y6, it has become a firm favourite with pupils past and present. With trying new things and overcoming personal challenges high on the agenda, the children work together to achieve some incredible feats - going higher, deeper, faster and even getting wetter than ever before. Activities include caving, rock climbing, low ropes, archery, bouldering, the challenge course, raft building, abseiling, an aerial trek course, initiative games, Big Bounce and high ropes. It is all rounded off by the most amazing camp fire where you might hear about a Crazy Moose, a Bop Diddly Man, the Magic Moon Stick and a Banana Eating World Championships. We love the Pioneer Centre!
